If you're familiar with the expression "May the force be with you", this original art has a secret wish for you on the back. Strong with this painting, the force is!
1. A first edition 1983 Bib Fortuna action figure, given to me by my Star Wars collecting brother, graces the cotton ball clouds holding a stem of Fleabane plucked from the flowers outside my studio, because even the shady characters deserve love and a place in heaven.
2. Attention to detail goes unnoticed until one closely observes the light grommet in the light, the dark grommet in the dark, the white grommet in the white cloud.
3. I painted a lot of this while live streaming and a viewer told me the cloud looked like a fish. This pleased me and helped to inform the title. Crossing the ideas of an afterlife in heaven and bad guys "sleeping with the fishes" the title was born to heal and make whole the forces of good and evil. Like remember when Darth Vader became a good guy again?
